Excellence in Machining
With a strong emphasis in flight and manned-flight machining, Coyote Cutters is capable of tough challenges. After 25 years in the trade, Coyote Cutters has landed machined parts on Lunar, Martian, and Plutonian missions. Defense missions have ranged from laser trunnions to bomber modifications to missile parts. Additionally, Coyote is veteran-owned and seeks out veteran machinists.
About Us
Coyote Cutters began machining with local disk drive and medical Colorado companies. Eventually, the shop became known to local engineers who migrated to aerospace companies in the region and took us along. Ball Aerospace, Toyon Research, and the US Army Missile Command were all early customers. NASA JSC invited Coyote in to help on an astronaut training device that had issues. When our job was done the device worked and we became NASA approved. Along the way, they took us to other customers like Jacobs, Oceaneering, MIT, and JPL. We still make parts for US space suits and things like female astronaut urine funnels for the space program.
Our Mission
is to build parts that have never been built before and send them places we have never been and along the way help defend our country…

What We Do
CNC Milling
Coyote Cutters specializes in 5th axis machining up to a 30 inch cube in size. In addition, our robots can load your parts into a mill automatically, reducing, cost, human error, and lead times.
CNC Turning
About 50% of the jobs the shop accepts begin with a round housing with exacting tolerances, bearing diameters, undercuts, in all types of materials from aluminum to Invar to Inconel.
CNC Inspection
Coyote offers a full range of CNC inspections beginning with Zeiss equipment. Articulating heads allow full 5th axis movement in the inspection process.
In Business Since 1999
We have been in business over 24 years and we have been successful in building long-lasting relationships with our customers. Constructing flight equipment is an intricate process that requires a lot of expertise and precision. Any deviation from the planned design can result in huge problems.
Our founder and machine workers are skilled at building flight-related equipment. At Coyote Cutters, we help you avoid the extra correction work that comes with employing novice companies to get such precision work done for you.
